Conference Venue

The conference will convene at Spier Estate, Stellenbosch.  Stellenbosch is a scenic university town situated in the winelands of the Western Cape.  Magnificent natural surroundings, graceful architecture and the inherent elegance of Spier make it the perfect venue to host the 8th Here be Lungs Conference.

Bronchoscopy Workshop

The Bronchoscopy Workshop is an intensive workshop, exclusive to approximately 20 delegates. The Workshop will be held on the 06 March 2019. Do register your interest with the conference organisers, and note that the venue for the workshop will be at The Stellenbosch Lodge, near Spier.

Language

The official language of the conference will be English.  No simultaneous translation service will be provided.


Exhibitions

Companies and suppliers will exhibit their latest innovations, give demonstrations and will be available to answer questions.  You will have ample opportunity to visit the exhibitions during refreshment breaks.


CPD Accreditation

CPD points will be applied for by Stellenbosch University.

Access to your CPD certificate will be forwarded to you after the conference, via the email supplied on your registration form.  Please confirm at the CPD desk that the email address supplied is correct. CPD certificates will be available up to 12 months after the congress. Note that a R250-00 levy will apply for requests for duplicate CPD certificates after this period.
Delegates will be issued with a bar coded tag which should be scanned for every session attended.


Admission Nametags

Conference nametags must be worn by all participants at all times during the conference and on all conference premises. Only participants or accompanying persons wearing their conference nametags will be admitted to the scientific sessions and the social events.
