The program is will be submitted to Stellenbosch University CPD department for the Health Professional Council South Africa (HPCSA) accreditation.

The CPD scanning and monitoring process is being managed by ConsultUS (Pty) Ltd.

Effective from 01 February 2022, CPD providers no longer need to issue CPD certificates to the HPCSA professionals. The CPD provider will submit points earned per delegates directly to the HPCSA CPD office.

The HPCSA will then automatically upload the accredited CPD event/activity points to the HPCSA professionals profile.

Associate Professor & Neonatologist in the Department Paediatrics & Child Health, Stellenbosch University & Tygerberg Academic Hospital. She obtained her PhD (SU) on non-invasive cardiac output monitoring in preterm infants. She is part of the European Society of Paediatric Research special interest group on non-invasive cardiac output monitoring (NICOM) as well as the special interest group on neonatologist performed echocardiography (NPE).

Eckhard Teschner, with a background in biomedical engineering and experience in emergency and intensive care, joined Dräger in 1999. He's been Senior Product Manager since 2001, overseeing Dräger’s EIT technology project. He's initiated over 80 collaborations with lung mechanics experts, participating in numerous EIT measurements on intensive care patients. He's authored/co-authored publications on EIT and PulmoVista 500. A member of TREND group, he contributed to PulmoVista 500's development, specifying requirements, designing its interface, and managing iterative projects to enhance its performance and usability.

Dr. Lisa Frigati is a paediatric infectious disease specialist focused on paediatric and adolescent HIV and TB in sub-Saharan Africa. She practices at Tygerberg Children's Hospital and holds two Masters degrees, one in Tropical Medicine and International Health, and another in Paediatrics, specializing in isoniazid prophylaxis for children on antiretroviral therapy.

Holds the MD and MEngr degrees from Tulane, and an MBA degree from Wake Forest University. Honorary appointments in four medical schools, is on the editorial board of 10 journals, has published more than 300 original research papers and chapters (H-index 75), and holds 11 patents.
